Games area closed during red weather warning
The Met Office has issued a red weather warning in relation to heat for Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 June 2026.
Mickleton Parish Council is the first-tier of statutory local government, and it aims to deliver and coordinate services to meet the needs of the local community and improve the quality of life in the parish.
Mickleton Parish Council contributes to local maintenance, is the burial authority for Mickleton cemetery, responds to planning consultations, supports local charities and endeavours to respond to matters raised by parishioners.
Mickleton Parish Council also works in partnership with both Cotswold District Council and Gloucestershire County Council.
The parish council is responsible for managing its own budget which is financed through the annual Precept (its share of the Council Tax).
The clerk works flexible part-time hours across the week (remote working)

Unfortunately, the family fun day event had to be cancelled because of the weather. However, the games area is still free and open for anyone to use. The parish council will announce if the event is to be rearranged in due course.
